Performance Monitor is a small program that shows you the CPU, Memory, Disk and Network utilization under all versions of Windows Systems.

It’s composed by four fully configurable small graphs and it can work in the tray area also. The windows are fully anchor able and by moving the "CPU" window you’ll move the other attached windows.

PerfMon can become transparent and permits you to forward left-mouse clicks so you can place it anywhere. You can also change the program priority saving CPU work and double its size for big monitor resolutions.

Sync: Flush all Disk Cache to Disk

In some cases, Windows might cache data before writing it to the disk. When a computer is shut down normally, all cached data is written to the disk. If you plan to shut down a computer forcibly (by initiating a Stop error or disconnecting the power), you can run the Sync command to flush all file system data to the disk. Sync, which is available as a free download, is also useful to ensure that all data is written to removable disks.
The simplest way to use Sync is to run it with no parameters and with administrative privileges, which flushes data for all disks:

Windows 7: How to search Active Directory?

In Windows XP, There was “Windows Address Book” program preinstalled. You can use Windows Address Book to search Active Directory for users, computers, printers, contacts, etc.,

Too Bad, Windows 7 doesn’t have “Address Book” program. Well there is, but it is not listed in programs menu. The following trick works for every domain user.

1. Click Start Orb Menu, and type %SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\rundll32.exe dsquery,OpenQueryWindow (I would recommend create a shortcut and place it in programs menu)
2. Select your domain in dropdown box and search away.

Standalone Stack (for all Windows Versions)

If you have ObjectDock or RocketDock,
you certainly know the infamous stack docklet .Now, if you don’t want any dock and simply use your taskbar, you can have stack view too.

Just get StandaloneStack 2, create a shortcut  and voilà, run it to show the stack.

So, once you have downloaded StandaloneStack 2, unzip the files in a real directory ( for example c:\standalonestack2 ).

Just run standalonestack2.exe to create and customize your stack !

When you have created your stack, you can open option with it, just hold CTRL key when you run it.

To navigate thru folder in stack, hold CTRL when you click on it (for now, you can’t go back).
